For this second week at GRANDPRIX CLASSIC Spring Break, many international classes took place at the Grand Parquet of Fontainebleau with a CSI 2*, a CSI 1* and in particular the Young Horses classes. The final of the CSIYH 6 y.o. took place yesterday on the Carrière du Puits Cormier and today, it is the Carrière des Princes which received the CSIYH 7 y.o. The future elites of equestrian sport have therefore expressed themselves in technical Grand Prix classes, offering a beautiful show.
Faustine Laferrerie wins within 6 years
Presenting Daisy d’Authuit (Cardero*Champs Elysees Boismar x l’Arc de Triomphe*Bois Margot), Faustine Laferrie took the victory in the 6 y.o. final at GRANDPRIX CLASSIC Spring Break on the Carrière du Puits Cormier. With a fast stopwatch, she made a beautiful without penalties run in the jump-off, putting her in first place. She thus leads Alexis Deroubaix with Delice du Plessis who is satisfied with a nice second place. Teddy Thellier also performed well this weekend as he finished third in both the Grand Prix and the 6 y.o. class on Friday with Djin Tonic St Jean.
Edouard Le Boux wins the 7 y.o. CSIYH
On the 7 y.o. side, the final was played today on the Carrière des Princes. Out of the 21 couples competing on the jump-off, Edouard Le Boux was the fastest with Missy Vd Vosberg. The combination of speed and no penalties allows him to take the first step of the podium. Stéphane Dufour is just behind in second place with Carlotta de Champloue. Third place went to Richard Breul who also performed well with Aristotle from Toultia Z in the CSIYH 7y.o.
The performances of these couples allow them to win points for the PremiuMares Young Horse Challenges and perhaps hope to win the magnificent trip to Greece!
